Alberta Applicants

On April 1, 2008, the Trade, Investment and Labour Mobility Memorandum of Agreement for the Teaching Profession between Alberta and British Columbia (TILMA-ABC) came into effect. It has enabled teachers who hold a valid Professional Certificate in Alberta to qualify for a Professional Certificate in BC.

The BC College of Teachers withdrew from TILMA-ABC on June 30, 2010. After June 30, we will evaluate your application under the Bylaws of the College and the Agreement on Internal Trade, which applies nationally. We will need all of the documentation listed on pages 9-11 in our General Application Package, including transcripts, to complete the evaluation.
