TC Magazine
The BC College of Teachers communicates with its members, as required by the Teaching
Profession Act, through a variety of means. Along with our website, TC (Teachers’ College)
magazine is one of the College’s major communications tools.
The College has an obligation to ensure that teachers, and other members of the education community,
are informed about the Standards of Education, Competency and Conduct required for teaching in BC. It is
our hope that TC will help inform members about the business of the College, the workings of the College
Council, the legal ramifications of court decisions, and other issues important to the teaching community.
With the help of advertising revenues, the magazine is currently produced at a lower cost than ever before.
If you are a College member and, instead of receiving a hard copy of the magazine, you would prefer to
receive an email containing a link to the latest issue on the College website, please enter the secure
member login area of the website. In your personal record, click the “Email TC” box and ensure that your
email address is indicated. When the next issue of the magazine is available, we will notify you by email
instead of mailing you a hard copy.
