Member Competence

Section 43 of the Teaching Profession Act requires that the College report to the Minister of Education and the public on the competence of the profession.

A Ministerial Order directs the College to collect from every public board of education and independent school, information regarding

1. the number of certificate holders employed
2. the number of teaching or evaluative reports written on certificate holders
3. the number of unsatisfactory reports written.
